Job Title:  Channel Sales Associate

Description: The Channel Sales Associate (CSA) will develop and sustain business relationships within the Natural/Specialty sales channel.  Primary duties will be to sustain profitable sales while achieving the overall volume and budget targets for the company.  The CSA is responsible for developing, coordinating and communicating distributor business plans to the key stakeholders in each account.  The CSA will also be responsible for identifying opportunities within the channel and ensuring execution.  A working knowledge of the distributor environment and managing brokers will be required.

What You Will Do: The CSA will be responsible for the relationship management with both the Sales/Account Managers and the Category Managers in the Natural/Specialty channel.  They will collaborate with the brokers and purchasing managers to develop and execute sales/marketing plans to drive sustainable sales and meeting the overall goals of the business.  They will work with the key stakeholders to ensure adequate visibility is achieved to support planning/forecasting and supply chain.  You will be responsible for forecasting and participating in trade investment decisions.  They will work with data and available resources to identify opportunities and make plans to achieve them.  Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and managing multiple brands/initiatives are critical.

You will be an advocate for the unique needs of their business.  You will work with various stakeholders (internal and external) to find solution and gain alignment to maximize business objectives.  You will need to navigate the relationships between Account Executives, Marketing, Retails Groups, Administrators, Supply Chain and Senior Management.  You will delegate and say “No” where suitable and appropriate.
